Spotify gift card not working...

Hey,

i live in belgium, and because i'm only 30min away from the border with the netherlands i thought i'd buy me a gift card,

but when i was trying to cash it in on my pc it told me that it would only work in that country where you bought it in...

does that really mean there is no way to cash this e card in??

or is it possible to change my country settings on my fb account and use it then??

please, i hope there is a real solution for this, otherwise this is a hell of a costumer service and such...

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

Spotify premium codes in the form of gift cards and eCards can only be redeemed in the country in which they where purchased as it says either in the terms of the card or online when you buy an eCard. 

However, if you get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form they might be able to do some magic for you, who knows!

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
