Dear all,

As u maybe know Spotify has been hacked and hunderds of accounts has been published online.

Username, Password etc are free to find for everyone.

CHANGE ASAP UR PASSWORD! Do you use the same password on other services? Change it there as well!!

Most account can be found on forms like pastebin.

I cannot publish the documents here because 90 procent of the passwords are still in use.

U can check if ur account has been hacked on: https://haveibeenpwned.com/ When u are not in this list. It doesn't mean ur account is safe.

Stuff like this is posted to Pastebin all the time and it is usually not direct information from Spotify. It is still unclear where the information was gathered from, but Spotify says it has not been hacked.

The official statement from Spotify:

“Spotify has not been hacked and our user records are secure. We monitor Pastebin and other sites regularly. When we find Spotify credentials, we first verify that they are authentic, and if they are, we immediately notify affected users to change their passwords.”

I understand ur statemant but I can prove spotify has been hacked.

If spotify takes care of there users it's not hard to sent all the users a reminder to change there password if there are published online.

My account has been published on Febr 24 and I still didn't get any warning form spotify to change my account. I think more users on that lists didn't get anything.

So with this post I want to warn the users to changes there password asap.

I hope spotify take more action. To help there users.

Dashlane told me that my account were compromised, I've generated a new 28 long password. I'd still like to know where to find these details as I'm afraid that my credit card were hacked. I've been at https://haveibeenpwned.com/ but they're saying that my email + username haven't been compromised?

Good thing that u changed ur password. The website search for pastebin files with ur emai/username if it didn't found anything u may have luck that ur account is not leaked. I understand u are afraid for ur creditcard details, I recommend to check ur creditcard every day to check if there are strange spendings. U can check another website: http://psbdmp.com/ but you need to create a account for that.

So far I now cc numbers are not leaked.
