“Spotify has been paused because your account is used somewhere else” (but I think it isn't)

Hi!

 

Got this message, checked my computers, and I am logged in on only one of them. Tried to play different songs at least 50 times, but still getting the message. Changed my Facebook password, tried again, no help. It is unlikely that someone else is using my account. The advice in the help page ends with no further ideas.

 

What should I do next?

Change your password. Maybe someone use your account. If you for example was at friend and do not logged out?

As I said, I already changed my password and it did not help. I have only been using my own computer. The only unusual thing that I have done lately, is that I was in France with my computer until yesterday. Spotify worked fine there, but does not work now when I am back in Finland.

Also having this problem.

It's annoying to the point of preferring silence. Sometimes stops two or three times during playback of one track.

 

I've followed the Spotify suggestions on a number of oocassions now:

  1. Logging out everywhere tried this on 3-4 times)
  2. changing my spotify password (twice)
  3. changing my facebook password (twice)
  4. going to each device I own and checking it's not logged in or even has the application running. 

It's still happening within an hour of doing the above steps.

 

It only appears to happen on my laptops - both mac and PC.

 

Really useful that spotify also doesn't have a technical support to contact to email. Thats not irratting at all....
