Spotify keeps flipping from premium to free

 I have Spotify Premium at £4.99 because I'm a student, however one minute my spotify will work as normal and the next it will be giving me adverts and saying to upgrade, and then it flips back. It has done this about 4 times today and I do not understand why. I was using the normal premium service at £9.99 and then swapped it because I'm entitled to the cheaper version but now it's playing up. Does anyone know what's going on and how I can fix it? That sounds not nice.

Do you've tried to reinstall your client? If not, here's a tutorial how you do it.
