Spotify logs me out after trying to close a popup on start-up.

I can login just fine but when the Spotify interface comes up I get a problematic popup welcoming me. When I try to close the popup the entire thing closes and I'm logged out. Here is a screenshot of the popup.

Also this is my first time trying to use Spotify if it makes any difference. I reseached the problem a bit but I wasn't able to find a fix that has worked for me.

Just click on "I'm new to Spotify, Let's go!" button, and you should be able to start using Spotify!
