Spotify not showing my Premium subscription

I am currently paying for a Spotify premium subscription that I've had for about a year, but suddenly today both the PC and mobile apps are asking me to upgrade to premium and are playing ads. My account info via the website shows my subscription, and my credit card statement shows that my last payment has gone through successfully. What now?

Hi,

It looks like there was a glitch with your Premium.  I cleared it, but this also stopped your Premium.  I have therefore added a replacement code and you will be able to restart the subscription in January.

Thank you Calvin! 🙂 One more question. My Spotify on PC is still showing banner ads. Is there a way to remove them?

You might need to log out and then back in for the application to update.
