Spotify pauses after 30 secs

On my PC and my phone the program will only play for about 30 seconds, YES I HAVE SIGNED OUT OF EVERYTHING, I have changed password, I've cleared cache, I've uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times, I have restared both phone and PC. NOTHING Has worked
I just want a refund and to cancel my plan, I'm tired of this crappy service with a lack of support.

Hey @AnnoyedPayingUser,

Sorry to see you feel this way. Such an issue is not the best thing to be dealing with, especially when nothing seems to be fixing it.

You can read more about cancellations here but I believe there's also something we can take a look at here!

The good thing is that the issue seems to be occurring on both platforms so it's most likely account-related. What I'm thinking is that you might have some 3rd party apps interfering with the playback.. (There was a similar issue a while ago with the Discord app activating itself and pausing things if I'm recalling correctly)

What I'd suggest is checking those here and revoking the accesses one by one to see if anything makes a difference.
Any apps can be re-added afterwards.
Tip: You can take a screenshot or take notes of the app names for ease of access should you wish to re-add any of them in the future!

Hope this helps 🙂
Keep us posted on how things go!

I start the music it stops 34seconds later and i must restart it every 34seconds

Hi.  I've been having this issue too.  I've done everything mentioned above and removed access to all third-party applications, and my playback still pauses after about 30 seconds.  I have noticed that when I'm listening on my phone, it works if I'm wearing headphones, but not  without headphones.  I have an iPhone 12 running on iOS 17 and an HP 15-dy0xxx laptop running on Windows 11.  I would really appreciate some help with this.

Hey @vercopaanir

Thank you for reaching out to the Community!

We`re sorry to hear that the troubleshooting hasn't helped out, this sounds quite peculiar. Further possible troubleshooting would be to try and replicate the issue with another account on the affected devices. If the issue does not appear while using another account that would prove useful for us to move forward.

Another thing you could try is to perform a clean reinstall of the apps by following these steps here, afterwards log in and out 2 times one after the other so that the app will force a re-sync.

Let us know how it goes and if needed could you send us a video recording of the issue.

Fingers crossed!
