Spotify playlists not automatically updating

Spotify playlists not automatically updating

Hoping you can help

I listen to playlists such as morning motivation, confidence boost, Friday funday. They all used to update/refresh weekely and frequently but have stopped for quite some time now on my account.

all my payment details are up to date. I have premium.

How can I fix this? I have tried logging out on all devices. Going offline and then online. Deleted the app and reownloaded.

Thanks

Hello @sammirogo1712!

Can you check if you're seeing the same songs in those playlists from a different account? If so, this isn't probably an issue with your account.

I'll be looking forward to hearing from you!

Yes that was one of the first things I did. I checked 3 other accounts and the playlists were updated and the same across all 3, mine still has songs from I think around September/ October.

Hello there!

Thanks for your reply. Does this happen on every device? Also, can you try using a different internet connection?

Keep me posted 🙂

It happens on all devices and on different internet connections. Is it worth me deleting my account and starting a new one?

Hey there! Thanks for your reply.

Can you send me over the URl's of the playlists you're having this issue with? I'll take a look just in case 🙂

Keep me posted.

I am getting this exact same issue. Please help.

Hi there @sammirogo1712 and @user-removed,

Thanks for posting here to tell us about this!

@user-removed, have you also tried any troubleshooting steps and if so, which ones?

@sammirogo1712, a new account might actually do the trick for you. How about you create a new Free one? See if it works, and if so, you can transfer your music to the new account.

If it works on the new account, here's what you can do:

  1. Cancel your subscription.

  2. Create a new account.

  3. Transfer your playlists to the new account.

  4. Close your old account.

  5. Subscribe to Premium on the new account.

Keep us posted!
