Spotify premium family pack

Is it permanent until we cancel the Spotify premium family pack or is it like one of those offers that only last for two months or so?

Spotify subscriptions aren't prorated. 

To sum things up, once you've canceled your subscription, it'll automatically revert to the Free service when the remaining Premium time you've paid for runs out. You can also keep track of this on your Subscription page.
