Spotify shows PASSWORD as Profile name

Hello,

I have activated Family subscription and created first account. Unfortunately after creating account I see in PC app in the top right corner that my PASSWORD is displayed instead of nickname. There was no option to put any nickname during registration and there is no option to change it now. How to solve this huge security flaw?

Thanks for reaching out to us! 

No worries - you can easily close this account and create a new one.

Note: When creating the new account, you'll have a field to enter a display name. So, you can do it there. Just be careful not to re-enter your password in this field.

Wow the support that linked me to was incredibly helpful. Freed up my email set me back up with trial and transfered my music . Very happy
