Spotify stole my new CC number and charged me without authorization!

Spotify stole my new CC number and charged me without authorization!

-Had a Spotify premium acct. set up on an OLD debit card
-Got a NEW debit card and did not update my Spotify payment info
-Spotify, unable to charge the OLD debit card, emails me repeatedly, requesting my new payment info.
-I decide that I no longer want Spotify premium so I just do nothing, knowing that Spotify will eventually just close the acct.
-Wake up today with a charge for Spotify on my NEW debit card (a number I never gave to Spotify)
-Check the Spotify website and find that they have the last four-digits of my NEW card (again, I never gave them this information)
-Call Chase Bank and ask "Why have you provided a third party with my debit card information?" They deny giving Spotify this information... even though Chase and I are the only entities who could possibly have this NEW card information.
-Chase  implies that I might have given Spotify my NEW card number by accident. Which of course is impossible and ridiculous since I made the conscious decision not to keep the Spotify acct.
-Now I do someresearch and discover Spotify has a long history of obtaining payments from clients without their authorization. Now I don't know what to think.
-Is this a Chase problem or a Spotify problem? Either way, I've been wronged!
-How did Spotify get this information? And why would they charge me without my permission? I want answers!
