I have created a spotify account, paid on a UK debit card and tried to go into account settings and change the country I'm registered in.
I can't.
It says I'm in sweden, it keeps giving me the swedish charts etc etc
Really annoying, can you sort it out?!
Are you using Facebook to log into Spotify?
I have been yes.
Should that make a difference?
I have the same problem. I have been using Premium since several months and today I have changed it into Family option. I live in Germany, but after this change Spotify thinks I am in France and more, I cannot change the country. I can change it in the paying options but it has no impact...
Do you still have the issue after deleting the Spotify app from https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=applications and logging in again?
Have you checked your account overview and can see that your country setting is set to UK?
If it is then it's in your device settings, set your device's language setting to UK then reinstall Spotify.
