Spotify used an expired credit card to pay for the subscription

Hi, I am from Singapore and last year my credit card expired, however Spotify still made subscriptions to the Premium service till Febuary this year. I have updated the credit card  in March this year but can someone explain how Spotify is able to use an expire to pay for the subscription for two months?

Hi, and welcome to the community!

 

Strange!

 

I suggest you submit an online contact form; and someone at Spotify can check whats been going on in your account.

If you get an automated reply; make sure to reply to it directly (even if it's from a no reply); and it will be sent to the Spotify staff.

Spotify will just have processed the payment as normal, better question is if the card was expired why didn't your bank reject it?
