Spotify won't login to Facebook

Okay so I restarted my laptop just before and went to open Spotify, but for some weird reason it had logged out (I always keep it logged in).

I clicked on log in with facebook, but once it attempts that, it'll say "The username or password is incorrect. (Error code: 3)"

I have already tried most solutions on other forums, but nothing has worked so far.

I tried:

- Logging in manually, trying both my email address and my email address without the @hotmail.com bit.

- Resetting my password through Facebook.

- Deleting the Spotify app through my Facebook app settings.

- Deleting spotify off my laptop and re-installing it.

- Restarting my laptop.

None of these options have worked so far and it's really annoying me.

Would anyone else have any possible solutions?

Hello everyone,

 

Thanks for posting your reports. There is currently an issue with logging in.

 

Spotify is currently looking into this and hopefully it will be fixed soon.

man, the same here happens to me.

i can log in to the web profile.
but my mobile apps, desktop software and web player all don't work.

hope it's not just exceptional problems.
and hope fix can come soon.

Have the Same Problem with the iOS App, Hope it doesn't have anything to so with the 9.3.1 Update from yeststerday

i was able to change my password but once i logged back in none of my account was there, all of my music and playlists on the account had been wiped

 

Same problem here. I can't log in to the laptop or the app on my iPhone. I can't even reset my password.

No it hasn't. I still have the same problem!

Yeah and all of my account is still blank! I want my music back!

Now it's working and my playlists are ther.

Keep trying! It was just fixed so it might take a little bit to get working again.

 

If you continue to have trouble you may have to contact support.

If this is still happening for you with everything gone, you may have created a duplicate account, follow the information below:

"Please get in touch with Spotify via the contact form. If you get an email back directing to the support forums, reply back to that email even if it is from noreply, and the support team will be able to take a look at your issue and you'll hear from them shortly. Spotify users can also contact Spotify customer support as well on Twitter with the @SpotifyCares handle, or on our Facebook page."

If this is still an issue for you loging in, can you try using your email address assigned to your facebook account, and the current password you have been using for Spotify to login with?
