Starred issue

Computer 1: Mac running Spotify v0.8.5.1356... (highly usable and attractive interface)

Computer 2: PC running Spotify v1.0.38.171... (God awful)

 

Starred songs on Mac has 22,947 tracks in.

Songs on PC has 4 songs in(!)

 

There are also 3 rogue 'Starred' nested playlists ('Starred #1', 'Starred #2' & 'Starred #3') that have appeared on both machines, but these don't sync across devices and God knows where they've come from.

 

I simply want all my starred songs in a single Spotify default (i.e. not created by me) playlist that syncs across all my devices. I don't care if that is called 'Songs' or 'Starred' 🙂

 

Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi @jfhjfh1234 thanks for posting in the Spotify Community! 

 

This is a weird one, right? Could you check your subscription page on both the PC and mac versions of Spotify. I'm wondering if there's a chance that for some reason there's been a duplicate account created? What's the username on both accounts? 

 

If that doesn't pan out I'd just get in touch with Spotify Care through this contact form, facebook or twitter


If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the Knowledgebase or the Spotify Community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address. Spotify Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.
