Streaming with spotify connect and Chromecast audio - offline

When I stream my offline files on Spotify connect or with Chromecast audio, will the system stream from internet and not my offline files?

Since Chromecast doesn't have the files downloaded within, they'll need to be streamed.

An active WiFi connection will be needed always when using Chromecast.

Hey there as @DasPeter said If they are saved offline, then no they will not stream cellular data, but both devices have to be on the same wifi connection. They play from your offline saved files.
