Student Account subscription

I had a premium account and have recently begun attending the University of California, Riverside and decided I wanted to make use of the student discount. I canceled my premium account and begun filling out the form for the student account and when typing my student credentials a message shows up saying "WE ARE UNABLE TO VALIDATE YOUR STUDENT DETAILS. CHECK YOUR STATUS AND TRY AGAIN." All my student info is correct and every time I enter my date of birth, 1997, and submit it, the message shows us and my birthdate changes to 1992. Please help?
