If I have Spotify Premium already but I want to switch to the student discount, will there be any problems? When I go to the page with the student discount, it wants me to reenter my credit card information. Am I going to end up paying for two Premium accounts? Because, oddly enough, I don't want to do that. Thanks!

Hey @brettec! Welcome to the Spotify Community. ^^

First off all, you won't pay for two subscriptions. 

You just need to sign up to the Student Discount and your discount wll be applied on your next payment day. 

Just be sure that you're eligible for the discount.
