Student Discount Not Working, Now Card Not Working Either

My credit card was stolen last month, so I got a new one, and I've had problems ever since.

 

Last month, I changed the card in my account, but it didn't renew my student subscription, so I lost $5 there. No big deal, all I needed to do is renew it with the student discount next month.

 

Well now it's next month, and my subscription wouldn't renew this morning. I kept getting the "We were unable to validate your student details. Please check your status and try again," error. I decided to return to it later in hopes that it would work. I used a support form, but still haven't gotten a reply.

 

Came back later and tried to renew again, but now I'm getting the “Oops, seems your card or payment provider is having a bad day. Don’t worry, no money has been charged. Try again or use another payment method,” error.

 

Very frustrated. 

 

UPDATE:

 

Just checked my bank balance and I have two pending charges from Spotify of $5.46.

I'm currently having the same issue and having the team investigate this. Do you currently have any premium on your account?

I do not currently have Premium; I think it just expired.

@MATTNGUY3N Thank you! I notified the team that you are also experiencing this issue. In the mean time, don't worry about those pending charges on your account, they will clear, it should take 1-3 days, or even a week, but I can assure you they will clear. If you have a different card you can use, I reccommend you try and get verified through https://spotify.sheerid.com and use a different card when you receive the checkout link in your e-mail. If it doesn't work or if you don't have another card to use, just let me know. I'll hear from someone from the team in about 12 hours...hopefully.

Thanks! I appreciate the help. Also, I do not have another card. It's unfortunate that PayPal isn't an option when using the Student Discount.

im trying to get the student discount but its not letting me in. Its saying they cannot find my information and I am a full time student.
