Student Discount Not Working

So I cancelled my premium subscription which ended yesterday. I am now trying to open a student account using my NUS extra card and it's saying the number I'm entering is invalid (it isn't). I'm entering the long number across the front. Can someone please help?

In this case, we suggest that you wait until your account goes back to the Free service. Then, you shouldn't have a problem to reapply for the student discount. It's better if you do it from a computer, using a Google Chrome incognito window.
