Student Discount hasn't been active for 5 months

Hi Guys,

 

I was kind of hoping that someone could please help me out with an issue.

 

Basically, I signed up with Spotify on the basis that I get 50% off for student discount. I just realised (I don't check my online statement that much, truth be told) that for the past 5 months I have been paying full price (£9.99), instead of £4.99. As you can imagine, that's quite a lot of money, a third of a year's worth of subscription.

 

I only just noticed that it is something which has to be applied for every year and I'm quite anoyed as I was never told of the increase in price, let alone given the option to cancel/update. Hopefully, one of you nice community people will be able to assist me with the issue, as surely some compensation is due?

I wish there's something we can do here in community to compensate for this. We are also just user of Spotify just like you. I suggest you contact Spotify Support through this link  Spotify Contact Form
