Student Discount wont work

Hello, I just recently put in a request to delete an old spotify account that was hooked up to my deactivated facebook account. I had premium with the student discount and would like to use the student discount for my new account (which I also want to be premium). I am currently not eligible for the discount because it says that my student credentials are already being used for another account (which I'm assuming is the one that I want deleted). Once my account has been officially deleted, will I be able to use the student discount again for my new account? How long will it take for the account to be deleted? Will I be notified that it is completely deleted/how will I know? Thank you for your time,

Usually it takes about 7 days for an account to be completely deleted from our system. In this moment, we don't notify about this.
