Student Discounts for International Students

Hi everyone,

So I'm an international student currently studying in the US. I tried to get spotify premium with the student discount, but it wouldn't let me because I have a Swiss credit card. How do I get around that?

Hi Jess. Welcome to the Spotify Community!

Since you're currently studying and living in the US, you need to use a US card instead of Swiss. Spotify needs a US billing address for it be approved since you're currently in that country.

Thanks! Thing is though, I wasn't planning on getting a US credit card... The Swiss one is working just fine for everything else... I have a US address for where I'm currently living though, so why can't I just give that one?
