Student Premium

I decided to start using Spotify again, so I switched from the normal Premium account I used to have to Student Premium. I checked my bank account and I have been charged from Spotify however, I still have the basic free Spotify with all of the commercials. I sent the email confirmation to my student email and once I clicked on the link it told me that the form has expired. Do I have to sign up for Premium Student again and get charged twice!? I have never had problems with Spotify before so this is very upsetting.
