Student Spotify premium

I've had Spotify premium for about a year now and I just realized I could get Spotify premium for $4.99 for 12 months because I am a student, how would I change my plan to allow me to switch my payment to that? At least for the 12 months because it would save me $60

I tried to sign up for the student discount, but for some reason it won't recognize that I am a student. How fast can they manually process this? What might I be doing wrong? I have selected the right school and everything.

Yeah, I was using the portal that they provided, but I guess Brigham Young University Idaho doesn't pass that? I mean, I did just start, would that have anything to do with it?
