When I click on Family Discount a red error box pops up on the next page. Does anyone here do both student and family at the same time?

Unfortunately, no. Any discounts cannot be applied to Family plan accounts. You would need to cancel your current subscription first and let it expire to be able to subscribe to the Family plan.
