Student discount

I am a spotify premium subscriber who has been psying £9.99 a month. I am also a student and have only just realised that I can get student discount and pay a £4.99 a month subscription! Is there a way I can apply this discount to my account without cancelling my current subscritption and resubscribing?

Also if I do canel my subscription and then resubscribe does this affect my library or account etc??

Hey there @aldohughes!

You can definitely just navigate to www.spotify.com/student and sign up from there. Shouldn't have to cancel, but worse case scenario and if it didn't apply the discount, you'd just need to cancel premium and resubscribe as a student. You wouldn't be charged twice and you wouldn't lose access to your music as your music is tied to your account, not your subscription level.
