I subscribed for spotify student but it would not verify me and I still got charged for the account.  I want to the spotify student subscription but do not want to get charged additionally by entering in my card again

Hi @swoxxxx. That charge you see on your card is most likely just a holding charge that will go away in a few business days. Holding charges are used by companies to ensure that your account has enough of a balance to complete the transaction, and since the transaction was completed the charge should be released. If you're certain you qualify for the student discount but aren't able to get it, try to register through here. Often the manual process will succeed where the automatic one fails.
