Subscribed to SingTel Music for Spotify but account is still on Free

Hi, I love Spotify and have been using it for a year, recently subscribed to SingTel music which waives my data plan for using premium Spotify. Recently I'm using the same account but it got downgraded to a free account. Troubleshooted to no avail and contacted my provider, they refer me to app vendor which is spotify. My account on SingTel music is a 12 month contract and it still active. Please assist... Monkeys from SingTel customer support says they have no idea about this and can't resolve. I have a suspicion it has to do with account syncing on Spotify or Singtel server. I do not have a second account and I am using Iphone 7 plus latest firmware. Internet is working fine.. tried to resubscribe with Spotify but it won't go through.
