Subscribed to Spotify Premium through a third party, do I lose everything?

My Question or Issue

Hi there folks,

My wife is a plan through our mobile provider.  That will be cancelled this month.  On her phone, can I now subscribe to a Premium Family plan so she can keep her playlists?

Once the subscription you're on ends, the account and all of the saved data on it should remain. From there you should be able to add a new family subscription and keep all of her saved playlists and such 🙂

When the plan in question ends it will revert to a free account.

Important to say, this action will not effect the playlists in any sort of way - meaning you won't lose them.

 

In addition, If you wish to subscribe and be a part of a Family plan, you can definitely do so.

Adding the Premium for Family help guide to provide better understanding on how to set it up properly.
