Subscription payment failed

Subscription payment failed

Hello! When spotify starts up on my desktop, it says that my subscription payment failed. My card is working properly and it's the only card I've used to pay for Spotify. My subscription still works even though I've been receiving this message for a while now. Is it a bug? 

I also recall trying to go to payment methods one day and it said to come back, there are some issues with the payment section at the moment. 

Should I just leave it? 

I don't want to change the payment method since it says it will change the billing date.. also i don't want to risk getting charged twice.

Welcome to the Spotify Community.

 

Most likely, the system is having trouble renewing your subscription. Don’t worry! You won’t lose your subscription immediately. We’ll keep trying to take the payment over the next few days.

 

In this case, could you check if your card your payment card meets these requirements?
