Subscription price has been raised.

I am a Spotify Premium user and recently have noticed that my monthly subscription price has been changed to 12$ instead of the 5$ that it was before with my university student discount.  Is the student discount no longer being offered or is this a problem with my account?  I have been unable to find any other cases exactly like this.

Looks like you signed up through iTunes. Easy fix - you'll want to cancel that by following this link and reading the steps.

Once you do that, head on over here to re-validate your student rate (Note this is the USA link). The terms vary per country slightly, but the general theme is that you have to revalidate your student status every 12 months and you can do this a total of 3 times.
