Suddenly Cannot Login Through Facebook (or in general) & Notice of Cancellation in E-Mail

Notice: I did not change anything or do anything different. I listen to Spotify through my Phone, Personal Computer, and Work Computer.

 

I cannot for the life of me, successfully login through facebook anymore. It happened Friday night. I got an e-mail from Spotify saying:

 

"You've cancelled your Spotify subscription.

The next day I try and listen to my spotify on my phone, and it shows that I've been logged out. So, I try and log back in through Facebook like I normally do: "Login failed: Unable to login, either username or password is incorrect. Have you signed up for a Spotify account"

 

I went on my both computers and had the same issue. I cannot login on Spotify's main website either. This is just plain weird, as if my account was lost in a black hole.

 

I would really appreciate it you can help me restore my account access. I've curated a pretty extensive playlist of music and have always paid. Nothing seems to work. I wish you guys had a customer service line that I could call.

Hi @ncastellano22. It sounds like you may have been locked out of your account for non-payment. Was your premium due for renewal before this happened, and have any of your payment methods changed/expired? If you don't think that's the case, have you tried resetting your password?

 

If it's possible that your account was locked out, or if the password reset did not work, then I would encourage you to contact support. Support can be reached one of three ways: through the online contact form; on twitter by reaching out to @SpotifyCares; or by sending a message to the Spotify Cares Facebook page. Please be aware that responses may take anywhere from 24-48 hours depending on the volume of tickets support is currently handling.

In regards to the contact form, upon filling it out you should receive a confirmation email, usually a generic message containing the information you provided and instructions to visit these forums. If after 24 hours you do not hear back from a support team member, please reply directly back to the confirmation email, even if it originates from a no-reply address. If you do not receive this confirmation email, please check your spam folder. If it is not present there, please attempt using one of the other contact methods, or, if you are unable to use the alternatives, please let me know.
