Surname change messes up my account

Dear Spotify, 

I got married last year and haven't been using my old account for a while. I decided to create a new one with up-to-date credentials. Than I connected the new account with Facebook. And I guess this is where it got messy. My user name is now only numbers and letters. My friends can't find my new account but the old one. And the weirdest thing is that I can't log in to my old account - error message saying that this email is not used with spotify - which is nonsense. I would rather not to mention my email adresses here to avoid potential spam. Could you please help me to delete the old account and keep only the new one? Thanks in advance.
