Suspicious account activity and unrecognized music in my playlists

My Question or Issue

Today suddenly my account was filled with music and favorite artists that I didn't recognize. I changed my passwords and logged out of everything, but now whenever I play my playlists, every time the next song starts is something completely alien to what I've ever listened. I tried clearing my cache, but nothing worked. I fear my account might have been compromised. (It is not the suggested feature. It happens with my liked songs as well)

Thank you for posting this thread in the Community!

It's great that you've already taken action to sign out everywhere via the Account Page and changed your password. You can also update the password of the email address linked to your account and make sure that you've not used the new password(s) before.

To further secure your Spotify account I recommend checking out the info in this help article which also includes steps to remove access to third-party apps just in case. 

Lastly, when it comes to your library's content filling with music you don't recognize, you can message us privately here so that our Customer Support can take a look behind the scenes.
