Switch to family (Telia) immediately?

 

I pay for Spotify Premium (via Telia) and had planned to switch to the Family subscription in order to be able to give the kids Spotify for christmas. I decided to wait until this weekend before fixing it (so as to avoid paying for it too long in advance) but now I find out that I have to wait an unknown number of days ("up to 30 days") before the conversion takes effect.  Thus my christmas present will be fundamentally flawed - "Kids, you get Spotify, I just don't know when.."  🙂

 

Is there any way that the premium subscription can be immediately terminated so that the family subscription can start?  I don't mind not getting reimbursed for the unused Premium days, just as long as we don't have to wait a month for Family to start working.

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

 

You won't be able to set up a family subscription on your account until your Telia plan comes to an end and your Spotify account drops to Spotify Free again (which is why you have to wait). 

If you want to end your premium early, you will need to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to assist you further with that. 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
