Temporary downgrade from premium

I've switched to a new phone plan that includes Spotify premium but have been told i have to cnacel my own preimum subscription and wait for it to run out before i can switch it over to my provider's included premium. Will i lose all my data if i let me account lapse to a free account for a couple of days while this is switching over?

Hello there!

Not to worry - No matter what subscription you have (Premium/Free), your playlists and songs won't be deleted when you downgrade your account. You should always have access your music even if you don't have a Premium account.

Thank Jose, hoped that would be the case. Seems a rediculous way to have to go about it but that's phone companies for you
