The Premium code you entered is invalid, even when it isn't

I bought and gift card at  "R-Kioski" in Finland. They activated it and gave me receipt with code on it. I tried to activate my code at redeem page on Spotify site. It said "The Premium code you entered is invalid. Please check that you have typed it correctly.". I have tried again after some time and got same result. I have also checked multiple times that code is written right. I use Google Chrome browser.

 

Anyone got any ides what may be wrong ?

I investigated my card and receipt further and realized that there is number on back of the actual card which works as code. Lady who sold me the card was wrong and told me to do it wrong. He told me to use number in my receipt, but number was on back of the card all along. Sorry for bothering you.

 

So for anyone in similar problem who bought it from R-kioski in Finland, people at "R-Kioski" may inform you wrong and you should check receipt and actual card closely if you have any problems activating.

Sometimes the code system can be a little temperamental. If you could get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form including the code, they should be able to lend a hand to get it redeemed for you. 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
