The Spotify app won't let me log in on the app - thinks I'm abroad

So I used to live in the UAE, where Spotify doesn't work. I made an account there. I am now living in Germany, where Spotify works. The website works fine; however, the app doesn't let me log in. A message telling me about being abroad and to change my country. I went to the account settings page on spotify's website and the only country available is Germany. How can this be fixed?
