The credit card was charged twice

The credit card was charged twice

I noticed that my account was charged twice within 30 days. I tried to start another account with a different email address and was in the free period but I could not confirm the email address because Spotify is a blocked site within a Federal government building. Could this be the reason for the charge, even if that email address was not verified. Please advise.
