Hello all!
I have a small situation, while it's not the end of the world; it would be great to have it solved.
I made a new Spotify account(currently logged into it ATM) I accidentally connected with Facebook. And this is where everything goes to poop..
I had an old spotify account, it was made with Facebook. It's login email is <snip>, so is my new spotify. I had a year worth of playlists I made and they are now all gone. For in the moment I connected my New Spotify with FB, I lost my old account and all of it's playlists. Even after disconnecting FB and re-logging into Spotify, there are no playlists.
Back story...I made a new account so that my Girlfriend and I could share the account and cut down costs. It removes the hassle of having to be logged into Facebook on her iphone to log into spotify..
Please help!!

Don't worry - I have transferred all of the playlists on the old account over for you. Simply log in with your username and the corresponding password (and not through Facebook) to access your Premium account and those playlists will be ready and waiting 🙂
You didn't mention this in your post, but have you tried the playlist recovery section in your account settings?
Your old Facebook account will have been temporarily been overwritten when you merged your accounts. If you get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form they will be able to find those playlists and move them over to your new account for you.
If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

Please help me I have a similar problem! I had an account under the name odette madeline and made it with an email address before it was neccessary to connect facebook. Finally I connected facebook and even changed the name to my facebook name Tippity change, this was fine for a year but then I upgraded to premium and then ALL my playlists disapeared and it looks like my original account odettemadeline is dissconnected from my facebook account and now i have a new empty account but I want all my original odette madeline playlists back!!! because i was sharing playlists on there with my best friends and now i dont have access to them!! PLEASE HELP MEEEE! I HAVE EMAILED SO MANY TIME AND HAVENT GOTTEN A REPLY BACK!!!!!!!!

Hello! No I cannot, when i try to log into odettemadeline it says that my password is incorrect and then it says "oh it looks like you are signed up using your facebook credentials" I know that my odette madeline account still exists because i can follow it from my tippitychange account but the odettemadeline account no longer has my facebook picture associated with it. I made my user name on this forum odettemadeline manually but my the only spotify account name im allowed to sign into is tippity change. Also when i use odettemadeline to sign in and try to request a password change to my email Tiffanysainz@gmail.com it doenst send any kind of email. Maybe this is because tiffanysainz@gmail.com is now somehow associated to the spotify account tippitychange. I must have somewhow made a new one by mistake but i want them to be only one account with all my old playlitsts! please! can you help me?

Nothing, it doesnt send a recovery password to my email. I check my spam folder too but I dont recieve anything

@Coffeeandmusic - If you are on Spotify Free and using the desktop client, could you make sure High Quality streaming is not enabled in the preferences menu?
