Transferring Accounts

Hi! I currently am on a family account however would like to transfer just my username over to a new account for just myself.  Is there a way to do this without losing all of my music? Thanks!

Hey @slegiezauk,

Yes, all you need to do is tell the owner of the Premium for Family plan that you'd like to get removed from the plan.

After they've removed you, your account will be downgraded to the Spotify Free plan. 🙂

Thanks @Maxim! When I get downgraded, I won't lose any of my saved playlists or music correct?

Yeah, that's not a Premium-only feature 🙂 Any user can have playlists and save music.
