Solved!

Transferring all my music from old acccount to new account.

I currently have about 1500 tracks in one playlist. I now wish to create a new account, will I be able to access/transfer my 1500 tracks to my new account, is this possible.

If so, please could you explain, what exactly it is that I have to do (step by step).

Hey  ciscotopher,

There are two options I can think of:

Option 1: Subscribing to the playlists on your other account. You can find your profile inside spotify by typing in 'spotify:user:username' in the Spotify search box. For example, if the username for your old account is 'ciscotopher' you would type in: 'spotify:user:ciscotopher'

Once you find your old profile you can subscribe to the playlists on your new account.

Note: If the old account were to be closed, the playlists wouldn't disappear. It would just be very hard to find them.

Option 2: You could make the playlist colaborative and share it with your new account so that you would be able to edit the playlist. Learn how by clicking here, or follow the steps outlined bellow.

Desktop:

  1. In the left panel, right-click a playlist.
  2. Select Collaborative Playlist.
  3. Share it with your new account.

Mobile:

  1. Tap Your Library in the menu at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Tap Playlists and select one.
  3. Tap Options in the top-right corner.
  4. Tap Make Collaborative.
  5. Share it with your new account.

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask 🙂
