Transferring saved songs from one account to another

My Question or Issue
Is it possible to transfer all saved songs and playlists from one account to another? For example if I wanted to completely delete an older account and start with a new one?

Nothing to worry!

If you want to move all your library to the new account I would recommend using a Desktop app of Spotify for that, because it is easier for you.

Just drag and drop the palylists to the desktop and you should be good to go. Don't forget your saved songs! Select them all (CTRL+A for Windows and Command+A for Mac) and right click on any of the songs there to add them to a new playlist. After you drag them to the desktop you are free to Close your Account. You can read this FAQ for more 🙂

Now you can Sign up for you new account and don't forget to choose the username you like this time 😉

After you have setup your new account just drag the links of the playlists from the Dekstop to Spotify Playlists section and they should appear there now. Tap on follow or do the same trick with Saved Songs I mentioned above to create now your own playlists (I guess more preferable for you).

You should be good to go now!
