Traveling abroad for 3 months with a premiun account taking only phone (android)

Solved!

Traveling abroad for 3 months with a premiun account taking only phone (android)

I will travel from Spain to Mexico for at least 3 months and will take just my phone (where I have offline lists). Laptop stays at home in Spain. My premium subscription  is paid every month by a spanish credit card.

3 questions:

1) Is mandatory to log in online into the phone once a month (30 days) to keep offline lists ?

2) If not, can I log in online every time I want although ip will be from Mexico, or system compares country profile and can have problems?

3) When returning home and log in into my laptop, will lists be ok, or I will need to redownload again lists and songs? I mean by the fact of not have logged in online for more than 30 days..

Thanks in advance!

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

To answer your questions:

1. Yes you need to log in on your mobile device at least once every 30 days in order for the app to verify you still have a valid subscription or else your offline playlists will be removed.

2. With premium, you can log in from anywhere in the world and use the Spotify system online without restrictions providing you can connect to Spotify on the connection you are using (no firewalls blocking it or anything).

3. Yes, you will need to redownload those playlists since it is a requirement to connect every 30 days on all of your devices to keep offline playlists active.
