Trouble connecting with a facebook friend on spotify

I am connected to Spotify via facebook, with sharing limited to friends. My girlfriend is connected to spotify via facebook, with sharing limited to just me. And we can't find each other and connect!

Anyone know how to fix this??

If you start typing her facebook name into the music search bar, matched facebook friends appear at the bottom of the list.

Thanks Joe. Tried that. Neither of us pops up for the other one upon typing in the other's name.
