Trouble logging in

Trouble logging in

I am currently having a very difficult time logging into my Spotify account. I recieved any email this morning that my payment method was insufficient, therefore my account was disabled. I am trying to log in to update my credit card info, however I am unable to do so. I then attempted to make a new account, and that did not work as well. I am leaving for vacation in 1 hour and I really hope I do not need to go the week without music. Can anyone please help me.

We recently received a chargeback from your payment provider, relating to a payment for your Spotify account.

 

The funds have automatically been credited back to your payment account and, as a result, weโ€™ve disabled your Spotify account.

 

If you have any questions regarding the chargeback, please contact your payment provider directly.

You'll have to contact the customer services team. Your account has been disabled, so that is why you're unable to login.

 

A chargeback cannot be initialised automatically however - it must have been done by your bank, on behalf of you. If you didn't submit a chargeback, then there's something bigger going on here.

 

I suggest you contact customer services using the Support Form.

Liam is correct, the support team will need to re-activate that account for you. Spotify take chargebacks pretty seriously.
