Trouble with signing in on second device on Duo account

Country

Registered as South Africa but I live in Vietnam

 I am trying to invite my partner who moved in with me to my Duo account. When he enters our home address, it gives an error message saying he is trying to sign in from another country. My Spotify account is registered as South African but I live in Vietnam. His Spotify is registered as Vietnam.

In order to be able to accept the invite, every member should have the same address and country. Your partner can check here if they added the same country as you. They can follow these steps, if it needs to be updated. 

Then you can invite them again to the Premium Duo. After they accepted the invite, you'll both can enjoy the Premium features.
 
If they get an error message, you can send me a screenshot of it. I'll take a closer look.

Thank you for your advice and guidance.
So what I tried was to change my Spotify country from South Africa to
Vietnam since this is where I live now. Each time I try to do this, it
seems like I have to select another plan for Spotify and it would appear as
if Duo is not an available option. Could you tell me whether Spotify Duo is
available in Vietnam at this time?

Thanks for trying those steps.

I checked to see the available plans in Vietnam, and I'm afraid that the Premium Duo plan isn't available in your area at the moment.

This may be why he isn't able to join your plan, since you're in a country where the plan isn't supported. Hopefully this plan becomes available in your area soon.
