Trying to add family member to Spotify Family

Hey there,

 

My wife was a premium member. We cancelled her membership.

 

I was a premium member, I upgraded to Family to include my wife in the plan.

 

Now when she accepts the invitation in the email, she gets the following error message presented to her on the spotify website; http://cl.ly/image/1b3M1N233m1Q

 

Tried everything, nothing is working. Can you help us out?

Is your wife's premium subscription ended? Subsciption cancellation doesn't turn your account to free until 1 month from last payment.

Her account will need to be dropped to the free plan first after canceling.

We already had downgraded her account, and it's listed as Spotify Free (see screenshot) http://cl.ly/image/0D200q2q081J

 

 Unfortunately that doesn't change the fact that she cannot accept my invitation.
