Trying to connect spotify to facebook

When entering my information - it connects to facebook but then in the spotify desktop app itself, it doesn't update - the connect facebook button remains and I can basically keep connecting without anything changing, without getting to see friends etc.

In facebook it says the app is receiving info - any ideas?

Try logging out and back in a few times to see if it makes a difference. You can also log into a different device to see if your account is connected to Facebook.

I have tried but no luck

I have the iphone app but no clue where to find the facebook thing - same for the website.
